Welcome to Bombay Naka Staines

About Us

Founders Ketan and Sweta bring the spicy flavors of their native Bombay to London. Inspired by the street food they grew up eating, the duo infuse Bombay Naka with India’s bright and vibrant flavors.

Bombay Naka evokes the sights and sounds of old Bombay, bringing the essence of traditional and street food vendors to the London dining scene.

Eating at Bombay Naka is a cultural immersion for all five senses:

  • Aromas: The rich fragrance of exotic spices.
  • Sounds: The rhythms and songs of an ancient culture.
  • Sights: Warm, intimate lighting and vibrant posters depicting scenes from Bombay life and legend.
  • Taste: Authentic tandoori oven-toasted flatbread, sumptuous curries, dosas, and chaats, all cooked to perfection.
  • Experience: The care and courtesy extended to family and honored guests.

The menu, created by Ketan and Sweta, brings nostalgic moments for them and many others who crave the same flavors from Bombay’s vibrant streets. At the same time, it opens a new world for many, introducing them to the rich and diverse tastes of Indian cuisine.

All the base ingredients are sourced directly from India through local Indian vendors, ensuring authenticity in every dish. Whether it’s the Bombay Vada Pav, Bombay Bhaji, or the night out favorite Keema Pav, each dish captures the same taste and flavor as you would find on the streets of Mumbai.
